We are home

Eli's surgery was today. We had to be at the hospital at 6:30 this morning so me, Mom, Richie, Eli, and Ali went down last night and stayed so that we didn't have to get up as early. The surgery when great it was originally going to take about 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours but it only took about an hour. They took him back at 8:15 and they called us at around 9 and said that they were about done and that we could come see him in just a little bit. He was very sleepy but other than that he is fine. He was smiling and laughing once we got home. He is back asleep now and will probably be that way the rest of the night. I just am so thankful that he is okay. And Thank God for watching over us during this time. Eli still has a week of recovering but I feel like he will do great. Next up is the helmet, we will start that process some time in Feb.
