Eli's update

Eli is doing great! I really can't believe how good he is doing. He is taking pain medicine but I really don't think that he needs it. He does care to put pressure on the area. Since he is rolling over know as soon as you lay him on the floor he rolls over I didn't let him do it yesterday because I thought that it would hurt but today I put him down and before I knew it he was on his belly. He just laughed and looked around. Laurie came by today with the proofs of Eli's 6 months pictures and I love all of them. I don't have any clue how I will pick which ones to order. Well Eli is asleep and that means that I should be asleep too. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

We are home

Eli's surgery was today. We had to be at the hospital at 6:30 this morning so me, Mom, Richie, Eli, and Ali went down last night and stayed so that we didn't have to get up as early. The surgery when great it was originally going to take about 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours but it only took about an hour. They took him back at 8:15 and they called us at around 9 and said that they were about done and that we could come see him in just a little bit. He was very sleepy but other than that he is fine. He was smiling and laughing once we got home. He is back asleep now and will probably be that way the rest of the night. I just am so thankful that he is okay. And Thank God for watching over us during this time. Eli still has a week of recovering but I feel like he will do great. Next up is the helmet, we will start that process some time in Feb. Talk to everyone later.

It has been a while

I know it has been a while since I have blogged anything. We have been so busy with the holidays, work, and being a mom. Eli is almost six months old and I can't believe he is that big already. He is sitting up and has two teeth. He is still looks just like my brother with alittle bit of Richie in there. Since he has gotten the teeth all he does is chew on his hands and drools everywhere. He also has really learned that he has a voice and talks all the time he really like to yell at us and then laugh. He is having surgery in a week and I am scared to death about it. I know everything will be fine but just thinking about it makes me want to cry. He will come that day and will have to go back in a week to have the tube they are putting in removed. Yesterday we had Eli's 6 month pics made with Laurie. She has posted some of them and they are sooooo.... good I love all of them. I really can't believe the my baby boy is already as big as he is. I really blows my mind. Well I gotta go Eli is getting fussy. Here are the pics that Laurie has posted I love all of the my favorite is the first one. Oh and the one of Eli eating carrots was just too funny so I thought that I would show everyone the mess that me and Eli made. Talk to everyone later.
