Merry Christmas!!

I know that it is late but I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!! We were so busy that my head to still spinning. On Wed me and Richie both work Richie till 12 and me till 3. I took Eli to work with me because I thought that we wouldn't be that busy but I was totally wrong. We were smashed that morning and Eli was fussy the whole time so Richie picked him up when he got off work and took him home. When I got home I had to make a banana pudding and then get ready for church. We had to be there at 5 and the Christmas Eve Service started at 6 we then when to Mom and Dad's to open Granny and Calebs present. Caleb got way too many present for us. Oh well. Next was my Mom's family get together. Mom's family is no small family when we are all together. Once we were done with that event it was aroung 11 and we still had to open presents at Mom and Dad's. Eli was asleep of course but he didn't like opening presents I think it was the noise and feel of the paper. He cried everytime he open a present.

Eli's getting too big

On Sunday Eli, Mom, Ali, and me all went to church. We all had to sing in the choir. As we were leaving I noticed something in Eli's mouth. He has cut a tooth. I was sooo excited about it. I about tripped and fell when I was going to tell Mom. It is one of this bottom teeth and it looks like he has another one coming in very very soon. I can't believe that he has gotten a tooth. He is five months old today. He is growing up to fast for me.

Christmas Shopping

Yesterday me, Mom, and Eli all went shopping. And I mean went shopping. We left the house about 9:00 that morning we had to go to a couple of places in town. Then we took Eli to Lisa and Ricky's house and we were in Bowling Green by 10. We went everywhere in BG. I had not bought a single Christmas present this year until yesterday I start and finished my Christmas shopping. We got home at about 12:00 that night we were all very very tired. I still am today. And to make matters worst Eli decided to not go to sleep until about 2 that morning I don't what is up with him. He has been cranky today. He cried for probably about 45 mins straight because he didn't want to go to sleep. Richie finally took him and he gave it up finally. He wore me out I bounced and walked and did everything I knew to do. But now I have to wrap the presents which I hate doing . But oh well. Next year I will try to start earlier than I did this year.

Christmas Parade

Today was the parade and it was cold!!!. For those who didn't see us Me, Richie, Ali, and Eli rode in Richie's golf cart. We had a cover on it and a heat in side with us and we were still freezing. Eli slept through the whole parade. No one could see because I had him so wrapped up. I have pics but of course don't have my camera with me. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

I just want to post some new pics so everyone can see how big Eli is getting. We had a great Thanksgiving. Busy as usual. Eli is sick this week with bronchitis. I can't seem to get him well. Richie put up the christmas tree tonight. I glad I love a christmas tree but I hate putting it up. I do have to put the ornaments on it. Richie didn't want to do that.

Bad Friday

I know it has been a while since I have blogged but my life is so busy. Between appointments and work and being a mom and wife I don't have time for much more. Well today Me, Mom, and Eli were in a car wreck. First thing is that we are all okay. We are thankful that GOD was watching over us today. We were on our way back from Vandy from Eli's head CT. We were on I 65 right around Franklin. I was in the right lane and moved to the passing lane when I did this there was a blue truck that was slowing down so I started hitting my breaks and looked in my mirror to see what was behind me. And of all things it was a tractor trailor and he was too close to stop and he hit us. He knocked us into the concrete wall that they have put while they work to make the road wider and then into another car. We were in Mom's car and it is totally screwed. We got hit from all sides and I can not believe one of us or all of us are not hurt more than we are. Mom looks like someone has hit her in the face with a baseball bat. Her cheek is very swollen and bruised. My neck is hurting from whiplash. Eli is fine, he has a place on his neck from the car seat straps. We are so lucky. I will be sore tomorrow but we survive. I would just like to thank God for being with me and my mom and Eli. I am so lucky that he was there with us today. I will post some pics when we get them developed.

Eli's surgery

Eli will be having surgery on Jan 15th. He has to have his hypoapdias repair. His urethra tube stopped growing and in turn so did his penis. We are not sure why this happened but the surgery will fix it. The skin on the top of his penis is actually longer than the skin on the bottom so that makes it curve down instead of sticking straight out. The surgery will take about 1 1/2 hours and they will be doing it at Vanderbilt Hospital. Dr Brock is the surgeon he did Case Hooten's surgery as well. I am totally scared to death but everything will be okay. I a few weeks to worry over. I will just be glad when this whole thing is over. When he gets home he will have a tube in the end of his penis so that he doesn't pee through the repaired part. He wears that for 5 days and then the doctors removed that. They told me that he will be bruise, swollen, and ugly after the surgery and the doctor stressed that point so that we did not freak out afterwards. I just need everyone to pray for us. I know that we will be fine it is just alot to deal with.

Sorry

I know I have said it before but it has been along time since I posted anything. I just don't seem to have any extra time lately. Halloween was so much fun. Eli wasn't feeling well but we still managed to get some cute pics of him. We dress up at work as M&Ms, I made us all shirt with a M&M on it. We all painted our hair the color of our shirt. I was funny to see us. We actually got to dress up 2 days that week. Tuesday, me, Darla, and Kristen dress ueep and then on Friday me, Darla and Leeann dress up. I was the blue one. My hair was bright blue. My brother thought that I should keep my hair that way. We had a great time at work on Friday on Tuesday it wasn't so much fun. We had a Halloween party and everybody brought something to eat. Everything was going great till about 1:00 when everything hit. I started feeling sick. My belly was hurting and cramping. I worked till about 4 and then told Robert, my boss, that I was so sick that I could stay any longer. I went home and laid on the couch for the rest of the night. I had the stomach bug in a big way. The funny thing is that the next morning I was fine I went to work and had no more problems. But on Thursday it hit again but this time it hit Richie he was sick all that night and the next day too. He miss Halloween with us. Mom and me took Eli around to see Ali, and Granny that was it. Leslie, Greg, and Carter met me at Granny's house so that we could take some pics of our little boys. It was fun. Me and Leslie have been through so much over the last 15 years, wow that is a long time. And yet we are still friends it just blows my mind that our boys are only 2 months different in age and that they will grow up together and probably cause some trouble together.
The next couple of weeks are going to be soooo.. busy that is maybe a while before I posted anything again. Eli has appointments everyweek until Dec 8th. We have to go to Vandy on Monday the 10th to see a doctor for his hypospadias. He probably is going to be having surgery at sometime to fix those problems. Then we go to Vandy on the 21st to get a head CT scan for Eli's helmet he is going to be getting the the following weeks. The 24th is his 4 month checkup at Dr. Smith. Then I have an appointment for an eye exam and a consultion with a oral surgeon on Dec 1st. I have to have my wisdom teeth cut out. Then on the 8th Elis has a appointment with a plastic surgeon to talk about the helmet. Eli will not turn his head like he needs to and now he has flatten one side of his head to fix this problem he has to wear what they call helmet. It will reshape his head. I am not looking forward to any of this. It is going to be very hard on me.
Well I think I have said enough I was going to post some pictures but can't find my camera right now. I will posted them later. Keep us in your prayers over the next couple of weeks.

Halloween Costumes

I don't like Halloween, well I just hate picking out costumes. Last night me, Mom, Ali, Richie, and Eli went to Bowling Green to find costumes. Well we did find them after 2 hours of looking. We kept changing our minds. I wanted to Richie to dress up with me and Eli. Well he wanted to be either the character on V for Vendetta or Jigsaw on Saw. He first chose V and then right before we left he change his mind and is going to be Jigsaw. The costume is really scary looking I though Richie that he kinda scared me with the mask on. Me and Eli are going to be Raggedy Ann and Andy. The costumes are soo.. cute. I was sick of looking and said that I was done looking. Ali is going to Pebbles and Derek is going to be Fred Flintstone. I know they are father/daughter but the Bam-Bam costumes was not very cute. Now my mom and dad are going to look cute. Mom is a nun and Dad is the devil. I think Dad took some offense to the costume but oh well. Me and Ali wanted the whole family to go as a theme like Wizard of Oz or Peter Pan, but we couldn't get it together and the costumes are really pricey. Needless to say I will be glad when Halloween is over in some ways.

It's almost Halloween

I can not believe that it is almost Halloween. Does it blow anybody elses mind? I haven't even found Eli a costume. Every one that I buy is too small for him. I bought a red chilli pepper the other day but guess what it was too little for him. The upper part was too big but the place for his legs was too little. I don't know what to do. It is getting on my last nerves. I know that he doesn't care what he wears but it is important to me. Oh well.

It has been a while

I know it has been a while since I have posted anything but last week I worked longer hours so that I could be off on Friday. So I was too tired to type anything. I started Eli at Cool Springs Daycare today. Mom picked him up for me and everything when great today they kept telling her that they couldn't believe how good he is. This weekend was Coty and Haley's wedding so we were busy all weekend long. Richie was an usher in the wedding. Friday night we went to Kristen's and Daniel and karaoked for a while, then Saturday after the wedding we when to Haley's uncle and aunt's house and karaoked till 3 in the morning. I didn't do anything on Sunday I was tooooo... tired. I take that back, I did go to Lowes for Richie and pick up his hot water heater for the shop and brought home Papa John's pizza for us. It was really good. I really excited this Wednesday Eli is getting his pictures taken at Laurie's. I have bought some really cute outfits for him to wear. I can't wait. Well, I need to be paying bills now talk to everyone later.

Well it is Monday

It's Monday big deal. I had a busy a day at work which is a everyday thing. Nothing new about that. We are always busy. I did find a babysitter but not sure still what I am going to do. The person that can do it lives in Rochester so is a good way away from me. Or I could put him in Cool Springs Daycare. I know the person running it and trust him to do a good job but I am just not sure yet. I don't know I still get so mad when I think about my other babysitter quitting on me like that. I just don't understand and probably never will. On to another subject I don't need to think about the babysitting situation, it just makes my head hurt. Last night we went out to Leslie and Greg's to a cookout and had a good time. I can't believe that Eli is a big as Carter it is so weird because Carter is 2 months older. I guess you could say that Eli is a big boy. Saturday night we didn't do anything, I clean house and Richie worked at Mom and Dads. Tonight we went to Granny's and had supper. Richie is working on taking down her stairs and putting up a new set. Wednesday I have a doctors appt and I am going to get Eli's Halloween costume. I can't make up my mind on what he needs to be. Any ideas? Talk to everyone later have a good Tuesday.

I had a terrible weekend

My weekend sucked big time. It started on Thursday Richie lost his job. They wanted him to travel and he couldn't so they let him go. It will be okay I hope Richie is going to start barbering again. His shop should be open in a little bit. Then on Friday things just got worst, I got off work early and was going to go shopping for Eli's Halloween costume. I got to BG and was waiting for Richie to finish so that we could go eat when I got a phone call letting me know that my babysitter was quitting on me and that I would have to find a babysitter for Monday. Boy was that great, needless to say I was not a happy camper. I cried for quite a while after that conversation. I was ready to blow my head off by Friday night. Things I hope will be okay. Today is Pa Tommy's birthday we are going to go tomorrow and see him. Everyone needs to pray for me and if you hear of any one that wants to babysit let me know.

Looking forward to Friday

I can't wait till Friday. It seems that this week has gone by really slow. I need to go to Bowling Green and get the supplies to make our costumes for work. We are going to be M&M's, I am the blue one. I have already look once and can't find anything. I also have to look for Eli's costume. I have one but it is too little for him. It is a puppy costumes he looks soooo... cute. Richie is going to go to Nashville this weekend for Coty's bachelor party. Well, I think that I will give Eli his bath and get ready for bed. I am so tired we have had a very busy weekend. Saturday we went to Jackson's Orchard with Ricky and Lisa. Everybody but Richie went, Ricky, Lisa, Keith, Stacey, Jaxson, Gracie, Layla, Eli, and me. We had a really good time. We went on the hay ride and pick a pumpkin. It was really hot and I was over dress. I didn't realize that it was going to be 80 degrees outside when we getting ready to leave the house it was kinda cool. Anyways, after we got home I clean house and was getting ready to go to Leslie and Greg's and then to Laurie's house I noticed that Eli felt like he was running some fever. I check and his temp was up to 99.8 so we stayed at home. That was all Saturday and today we went to the Dye Reunion at the park. We ate and enjoyed spending time with family that we don't see alot. Now I am at home writing while Aunt Gina and the kids are spoiling the baby. Lisa, Ricky, and Glen also came over and Richie cut Glen and Jacob's hair. I need to be paying bills and don't want to. I will leave everybody with some pictures of Eli at the orchard.

First blog

Well this is my first blog, I just figure that I would try it out to see if I like blogging. Not sure what I will talk about but I sure that I will find something. I am at home right now I need to be cleaning up the house but I don't want to. I worked today and I am tired. Eli kept me up for most of the night last night. Not sure why he wouldn't sleep he usually sleeps really good at night. We are going to Jackson's Orchard tomorrow with Richie's family. I am excited because I have never been to Jackson's Orchard everybody that I talk to says that it is wonderful. Well I need to go and stop wasting time and get the house cleaned up.
